A Special Cause
Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
When we were first awarded our chapter for Hamilton, our 1st Officer decided to designate the Cystic Fibroses Foundation of Canada as our charity of choice to support. Now there are plenty of very worthwhile charities out there and all for great causes, but this one hit close to home with our chapter. All money raised by our chapter during events and our donation/fine jar go to the CF Foundation. At our 4th Anniversary Party held on Saturday, February 5th, 2011, the 007 raised over $700 to go towards the Canadian C.F. Foundation. Very well done gang.
We also have a deal in place with The Fool And Flagon where we hold our midweek socials. They are giving us back 10% of our total bills to go towards Cystis Fibrosis Canada. So come out and join us on a Wednesday evening during the off season for riding. You'll not only enjoy some good laughs and great food, but you'll also be helping out a very worthwhile cause at the same time. How can you beat that?
